Blackberry Recipes for Summer
/It's summertime which means blackberries are everywhere! I should have made June the official month of blackberry recipes on the blog, but I wasn't that clever or forward thinking enough to plan it out. In actuality, if I'm being honest, I'm on blackberry overload on the third week of being overrun by blackberries in the yard. There are legitimately so many blackberries coming off of the bushes that I don't even know what to do with most of them.
In other parts of the country, blackberry season is just starting while mine is this close to ending—thank goodness because even our friends are getting tired of us giving them so many blackberries! I've put them into salads, into smoothies, barbecue sauces, pies, cakes, sorbet, mimosas using the aforementioned sorbet... the list goes on and on.
