ONX Wines is opening up their new winery and tasting room in Tin City. For $15 per person for non-members, you’ll get to be among the first to taste Caliber, their first ONX Estate Cab-Malbec cuvée as well as some of their library selections. No appointments necessary on Harvest Weekend. Open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday through Sunday. 2910 Limestone Way, Paso Robles.
Looking to try your grape stomping skills? Join Castoro Cellars Friday night as they’re stomping the night away. You’ll get to enjoy a Mediterranean dinner, featuring an award-winning Paella. Wear clothes that you’re okay with getting dirty. $50, doors open at 6:15 p.m. 1315 North Bethel Road, Templeton.
If BBQ and country music are more your style, RIO Seco Vineyard & Winery is having a good old-fashioned Harvest Hoe Down with The Callie Twissleman Band performing, also starring their fleet of wines. $12 from 6-9 p.m. 4295 Union Road, Paso Robles.
Love bacon? Then head over to Treana and Hope Family Wines for everything bacon. Free for members. Pre-sale tickets are available for purchase by calling or e-mail. 1585 Live Oak Road, Paso Robles.
Do you love Malbec, Tempranillo and Syrah? Head over to Cinquain Cellars for one of the few weekends they’re open to the public (without an appointment). 6404 Independence Ranch Place, San Miguel.
If you couldn’t make it to Castoro Cellars’ stomping festivities, join Vina Robles on a culinary trip through Switzerland. Stomp your own grapes, make your own t-shirt with your grape juice-stained feet and stroll through the market while enjoying Swiss fare while sipping Vina Robles wines. $30 per person, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. 3700 Mill Road, Paso Robles.
Calcareous Vineyard is hosting their annual winemaker harvest dinner. Come enjoy California local produce paired with some of Calcareous’ best wines. Learn where the food was sourced from, how it pairs with Calcareous wines and how the food was prepared. 6:30 p.m. $125/per person for non-members. 3430 Peachy Canyon Road, Paso Robles.
Plan on doing a little damage Saturday night and in need of a recovery brunch? Then head on over to Broken Earth Winery where they’ll be serving pasties, cheeses, fresh fruits, bacon, gourmet sausages, creme blur french toast and Louisiana-style shrimp and grits. Tickets are available for $50 per person and begins at 10:30 a.m. 5625 Highway 46 East, Paso Robles.
Love grilled cheese sandwiches? Then head over to Brochelle Vineyards from 11:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. as they serve three amazing sandwiches, all paired with their wines, $20 per person. 6996 Peachy Canyon Road, Paso Robles.
Learn how to make chocolate at MCV Wines. Space is extremely limited, so make sure you call now to reserve your space. It’s $35 per person and class lasts one hour. (11 a.m.-12 p.m., 1-2 p.m., and 3-4 p.m.) 845 Embarcadero Ste. H, Morro Bay.
Sextant Wines is pairing their wonderful wines with ice cream. They’ll be serving up vanilla ice cream drizzled with a decadent Sextant Zinfandel reduction sauce, topped with chopped nuts. Your $13 tasting fee includes one sundae and extra sundaes are available for $5 each. 2324 West Highway 46, Paso Robles.
